Between 1983 and 1993, Duran Duran had 15 top 40 songs on Billboard's Hot 100, 11 of which made the top ten. During the same period, the group had a number of personnel changes, going from a quintet to a trio and back to a quintet. Consistent members were Simon LeBon (vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), and John Taylor (bass). "The Reflex" topped the chart in 1984. "I'm Leaving It Up To You" made number one for Dale & Grace in 1963. "Annie's Song" got there for John Denver in 1974, as did Celine Dion's "The Power Of Love" in 1993.
2. Danny & The Juniors had what hit?

Answer: At The Hop

Danny Rapp, David White, Frank Maffei, and Joe Terranova formed Danny & The Juniors in Philadelphia. The group had only four tunes in the top 40 of the Top/Hot 100. In 1957, "At The Hop" ranked number one on the Top 100. Joe Dowell's "Wooden Heart"(1961), Michael Damian's "Rock On" (1989), and Taylor Dayne's "Love Will Lead You Back" (1990) all topped the Hot 100 list.

The Drifters had 16 top 40 numbers in Billboard's Hot 100 between 1959 and 1964. Ben E. King, Charlie Thomas, Elsbearry Hobbs, Reggie Kimber, and Doc Green made up the original group. In 1961, Rudy Lewis replaced King, and in 1964, Johnny Moore replaced Lewis.

Although they had such big hits as "There Goes My Baby" (number two in 1959), "Under The Boardwalk" (number four in 1964), "Up On The Roof" (number five in 1962), and "On Broadway" (number nine in 1963), "Save The Last Dance For Me" (1960) was their only number one.

The other chart toppers listed were: "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas in 1974, Terence Day's "Wishing Well" in 1988, and, in 1996, Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me'.

Originating in Houston, Destiny's Child had 13 songs in the top 40 of the Hot 100, ten of which were in the top ten. The original group had Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Roland, LaTina Roberson, and LeToya Luckett. With group changes, Destiny's Child was a trio of Knowles, Roland, and Michelle Williams in 2000. "Bootylicious" was a number one song in 2001.

In 1961, Jimmy Dean's "Big Bad John" topped the list. In 1974, Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods with "Billy, Don't Be A Hero," and John Denver with "Sunshine On My Shoulder" were both number one tunes.

In 1975, "Black Water" was their first number one hit. Dion did "Runaround Sue" (1961), Neil Diamond sang "Cracklin' Rosie" in 1970, and DYL released "Laffy Taffy" in 2005.
6. The artist: Bobby Darin. His only Billboard Hot 100 number one record?

Walden Robert Cassotto (Bobby Darin) had 22 songs on the top 40 of the Hot 100 from 1958-1967. But of his ten top ten hits, only "Mack The Knife" (1959) reached number one. The other top tunes were "Sunshine Superman" by Donovan in 1966, "Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me" by Mac Davis in 1972, and "Come On Eileen" by Dexys Midnight Runners in 1983.
7. For which melody is Celine Dion noted?

Answer: My Heart Will Go On

"My Heart Will Go On," from the film "Titanic" with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, topped the Hot 100 in 1998. Celine Dion had 17 top 40 songs between 1991 and 2002, ten in the top ten. Joey Dee & The Starlighters offered "Peppermint Twist (Part I)" in 1961. Rick Dees & His Cast Of Idiots sang the novelty tune "Disco Duck" in 1976. And Duran Duran did "A View To Kill" in 1985.

The icon born Neil Diamond placed 38 tunes in the top 40 of the Hot 100 between 1966 and 1983, 13 of which were top ten songs. His "Song Sung Blue" got to number one in 1972. His other two number one hits were "Cracklin' Rosie" in 1970 and "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" with Barbra Streisand in 1978.
