In order to get "enough germs to catch pneumonia", you need to "kiss a guy"! The song title is "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" from the album of the same name, recorded in 1970 by Dionne Warwick. The music was written by Burt Bacharach and the lyrics by Hal David. It was originally written in 1968 for the musical "Promises, Promises".
Check out Burt Bacharach and Elvis Costello with Austin Powers in "The Spy Who Shagged Me". This is a nice version of the song!

On the surface, the song "Tell Me Why" appears to have all the ingredients of a feel good Beatles song. However, McCartney suggests that John's lyrics in 'Tell Me Why' may have been based in real experiences, coming from arguments with his wife Cynthia.

The song won the 1968 Grammy Award for Best Country & Western Vocal Performance. It was also voted the Single of the Year by the Country Music Association. It topped both the Pop and Country charts in America, the first song by a female country artist to achieve this feat.

Gaye wrote the lyrics and worked on the arrangement; the three were golfing partners. Gaye was inspired by the stories his brother Frankie told him when he came back from the Vietnam war.

It was one of the first Motown songs to make a powerful political statement.
