Mr. Linnell most often plays keyboards and accordian; however you can also catch him playing a multitude of other instruments on various songs. Some other instruments he plays in TMBG songs are clarinet, acoustic guitar, saxophone, harmonica, trumpet, violin, xylophone, banjo, bass and the organ.

Henry Linnell can be seen on the "Gigantic" DVD. They Might Be Giants also has a record named "John Henry"!

Mr. Linnell broke his wrist in an accident while working as a bike messenger. Band member John Flansburgh set up Dial-A-Song (an answering machine which plays random They Might Be Giants songs when it is working) to keep the music flowing while Mr. Linnell was unable to perform.
