Answer: Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival (also known as 'CCR'), probably best known for their 1969 'Bad Moon Rising', released seven studio albums between 1968 and 1972. This was followed by over fifteen live and compilation albums - stretching all the way to 2012! This is despite the fact that CCR was active for such a short period of time. According to Wikipedia, the band has sold over 26 million albums - and that is just in the US!
2. Forming in 1975, which country do the The Little River Band hail from?

Answer: Australia

The Little River Band named themselves after the town of Little River, a small town close to the Victorian city of Geelong. After many personnel changes - the Little River Band has had over 25 members - the band was still touring after 35 years and the "classic lineup" (Beeb Birtles, Glenn Shorrock, Graeham Goble, Derek Pellicci, David Briggs and George McArdle) was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 2004.
3. 'The Honeymoon is Over' won an Australian Recording Industry Award(ARIA) 'Single of the Year' and 'Song of the Year' award for which Australian indie rock band?

The tour sold 1.4 million tickets in the first half of 2012, topping all international ticket sales for the same period.
5. Blues musician McKinley Morganfield was better known as who?

Answer: Muddy Waters

Rolling Stone magazine has previously ranked Muddy Waters as amongst the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. 1983 saw the death of Muddy Waters after a lifetime of achievement - he won six Grammy Awards in the 1970s. 6. Forming in 1990, the pioneers of fusion rock in India have named themselves after which world ocean?

Answer: Indian Ocean

Indian Ocean was offered their first album deal by HMV in 1990. They released a handful of albums before going against most record labels and releasing their 2010 album '16/330 Khajoor Road' album from their website. They released one song per month, before finally releasing the album in a two-CD pack.

The reason for the unusual method of this album's release was their frustration over copyright and contract issues with records companies.
