Answer: Amy Tan

Amy Tan is best known for her book "The Joy Luck Club" about Chinese-American mothers and daughters. Doyle is the creator of Sherlock Holmes. Christie wrote about several famous detectives including Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Dorothy Sayers created Lord Peter Wimsey.
6. There have been many Academy Award winners throughout the year. At a table reserved for Best Actress winners, who would be the stranger since she is just supporting?

Answer: Donna Reed

Answer: Vasco da Gama

Vasco da Gama is Portuguese and explored Africa and India, while all the rest are Spanish conquistadors who explored North and South America.

Answer: Martin Van Buren

Martin Van Buren was elected to the Senate in 1821 and reelected six years later, but resigned to become Governor of New York. He later became the 8th U.S. President, after serving as Andrew Jackson's Vice President.
9. If there were a meeting of all former Pope Johns, which of the following would be a stranger among the rest, mainly because he did not exist?

Answer: Pope John XX

The numbering system used for popes did not run smoothly for Pope Johns. Various conflicting accounts have placed Pope Johns where they should not have been. Historians also confused a fictional character with an actual pope. Also some Antipope Johns did not have their number reused, such as Antipope John XVI, when they should have. Pope John XXI took that number as a way of correcting the ordering system, skipping John XX.

This confusion is likely the reason why there has only been one Pope John from 1416-2014 - John XXIII (Pope from 1958-63).
10. It's TV Time! Three of these actresses starred on the classic primetime soap "Dallas". Who is the stranger among them who had a role on the Dallas-rival "Dynasty"?

Answer: Linda Evans

Linda Evans played Krystle Carrington on "Dynasty". Victoria Principal portrayed Pam Ewing, wife of Bobby. Linda Gray was Sue Ellen Ewing, J.R.'s wife, a role she revised for the 2012 remake series. Priscilla Presley played Jenna Wade, an old flame of Bobby's.
