Mr. Miyagi teaches karate to Daniel (the boy) in the "Karate Kid" movies before entering him in a competition against his nemesis. He is also credited as appearing as Mr Miyagi in the film "Blunt Movie" (2013), some 8 years after his death. This was a collection of adverts and movie parodies so that would explain how this happened.

He was also the voice of The Emperor in "Mulan" (1998). He died on 24 November 2005.

Her final film, the animated feature "Diego"(2008). was released after her death. She died of uterine cancer on 6 June 2005.

Born James Montgomery Doohan in 1920, he was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and not the state of Alabama. He married for the 3rd time in 1974 and in 2000 became a father for the last time aged 80. During the World War Two, he was a member of the Canadian forces landing on Juno beach on D-Day.

He was hit by machine-gun fire. He had four bullets to the leg, one which shot off the middle finger of his right hand and one to the chest which hit a silver cigarette case that saved his life. He died on 20 July 2005.

Frank of course played 'The Riddler' in the "Batman" TV series. His appearance brought him headline status in Las Vegas and gave him the opportunity to appear on Broadway to rave reviews. Burgess Meredith played 'The Penguin', Cesar Romero played 'The Joker' and George Sanders played 'Mister Freeze' in the series. Gorshin on died 17 May 2005.

In 1967 he walked away from 'The Tonight Show' when he believed NBC had violated his contract by showing reruns of his programmes during an industrial dispute. Such was his popularity that NBC had to give him a new contract to return which guaranteed him $4 million over the next 3 years which of course was a huge sum back then.

It is thought that he wanted David Letterman to succeed him on 'The Tonight Show' but that went to Jay Leno. He did appear on Letterman's chat show but never appeared with Jay Leno.
