Answer: Titus Flavius Domitianus

He was the brother of the former emperor Titus and ruled for 15 years. Thought to be a tyrant by some historians.
2. When did Domitian assume the emperorship?

Answer: 81 AD

He assumed the emperorship after a supposed assasination of his brother Titus, although the assasination has not been proven.

Answer: Parthia

The war with the Chatti started in mid 83 and ended around early 85 with no decisive victory. The war in Dacia occured somewhere between 84 and 89. The war with Britannia was occuring right before the war with the Chatti but was halted for the Chatti campaign.

Answer: No

Domitian pushed the Chatti back into their own territory by AD 86 but never gained a decisive victory with his Chatti or Dacian campaigns. He chose to use the territory he conquered from the Chatti as a buffer for the Roman Empire instead of annexing it.

He was killed by Stephanus and a number of freedmen. His successor was Nerva, the father of Trajan. Nerva reigned for only 16 months.
