There have been many left-handed U.S. Presidents including: James Garfield, Herbert Hoover, Harry S. Truman, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton. In the 1992 Presidential election, all three major candidates, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and H. Ross Perot, were left-handed.

Many right-handed tennis players have difficulty playing against a left-handed player because the spin lefties put on the ball cause it to curve in a direction that is opposite to the more common right-handers spin.
