Orville Wright was the first to fly the Wright Flyer, which was designed and built by him and his brother Wilbur Wright. Willis Carrier developed modern air conditioning. Jimmy Doolittle was a pilot, and Glamorous Glennis was the name of the aircraft that was the first to reach Mach 1 speed.
