Sir Thomas Wyatt was famous for his involvement with Anne Boleyn, although he had to step back when he saw Henry VIII's attention to her. When she was brought down in the summer of 1536, he almost went down with her. He was put in the Tower with the other five men convicted of adultery with her, although while they were executed, he was released.
