A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was born on 15th October 1931 in Rameswaram, Ramnad district, Madras Presidency, British India (now Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, India). He passed away on 27 July 2015 (aged 83) in Shillong, Meghalaya, India due to cardiac arrest.

He has served as the 11th President of India from 25 July 2002 to 25 July 2007.

Bharat Ratna is the highest civilian award in India. He has also received Padma Vibhushan (second highest civilian award in India) in 1990 and Padma Bhushan (third highest civilian award in India) in 1981.

Mrs. Indira Gandhi was the daughter of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru. She was born on 19 November 1917 at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. She served as the third Prime Minister of India as well as being the first female Prime Minister.

Rajiv Gandhi was her son, who after her death became the Prime Minister of India.

She died on 31 October 1984 (aged 66) in New Delhi, India.

He is one of the greatest legends in cricket. He was born on 24 April 1973 in Mumbai. He was the first player to score a double century in a One Day International match. He has received many awards, including "Bharat Ratna" (2014), "Padma Vibhushan" (2008), "Padma Shri" (1999), and "Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna" (1997-98), the highest award given for achievement in sport.

He holds the record for scoring most centuries while chasing in ODI cricket. He hit 35th century in ODI cricket against South Africa on 16th Feb 2018 in his 200th ODI innings.

Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to go in space. He was born on 13 January 1949 at Patiala in Punjab, India. He was a wing commander in the Indian Air Force and now he is retired. He has been awarded with Ashok Chakra and Hero of Soviet Union award. He spent a total of 7 days 21 hours and 40 minutes in space.
