"Yes Is For A Very Young Man" was performed at the Pasadena Playhouse the year that Gertrude Stein died. She wrote the play about life and friendships during World War II in France when it was occupied by Germany. The English renamed the play for their country, "In Savoy".

While at Johns Hopkins University, Gertrude studied brain anatomy. However, her grades were poor and she never graduated. She failed four classes and gathered low scores on several others. Her worst classes were obstetrics, laryngology, rhinology, and opthalmology.
