In 1537, Jane Seymour, the English queen, not the English actress, gave birth to a baby boy who was destined to become King Edward VI. She died within a week a giving birth to the future king. Edward himself died at the age of fifteen. Jane was the third wife of the infamous Henry VIII and is thought by many to have been his favorite wife.

When Henry died in 1547 he was buried beside her.
