Answer: George I

It used to be claimed that the office of Prime Minister came into being since George I (George Louis) was incapable of communicating in English and absented himself from Cabinet meetings - hence the need for a Prime Minister. A recent biography by Ragnhild Hatton claims that "George's knowledge of English was not extensive but it was not as limited as once believed." According to Hatton, George continued to attend Cabinet meetings well into his reign.
4. With the exception of James II who died in exile, I am the only English monarch not buried in England since King Richard I. Which George am I?

Answer: George I

George I died while on a visit to his other kingdom, Hanover. His son, George II, decided that George I should be buried in Hanover along side his mother the Electress Sophie.
