1. Who was the high priest when Jesus was crucified?

Answer: Caiaphas

Caiaphas was the high priest from 27-36AD. He hated Jesus and did not believe He was the Son of God. In a mock trial at the Sanhedrin, he convinced everyone that Jesus was guilty and ought to suffer the consequences. So, Jesus was sent to Pilate to be sentenced and crucified.
2. Hebrews 11 is known as the "Hall of Faith" by many Christians. According to Hebrews 11:4 Abel offered a better sacrifice to God than whom?

Answer: Cain

In Genesis 4:8 (KJV) Cain killed Abel. He was jealous of his brother because God recognized Abel's gifts more than Cain's. This was because Abel gave the best of what he had and Cain didn't.
3. Who was the Christian named by name in 2 Timothy 4:13 (KJV)?

Answer: Carpus

Corpus means "fruit, fruitful". He was a Christian from Troas. Troas is the city that Paul started from. The modern name is Eski-Stamboul, which is located in Turkey.
