Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 1 Timothy 1:4 of the KJV says "Neither give heed to ________." What word goes in the blank?

Answer: fables

What the Bible says we should do is spend our time glorifying God. Fables are mentioned five different times in the New Testament. Each time we are warned against them.
2. In which book of the Bible did the first famine occur?

Answer: Genesis

The first famine happened when Abram was an adult. Probably the best known famine is when Joseph was in Egypt after his brothers sold him. The Pharaoh dreamt of seven lean cows eating seven fat cows but the lean cows didn't get any fatter. Joseph predicted the famine and told Pharaoh how to ration the food so there would be plenty when the famine hit.

This got Joseph the second in command in Egypt after the Pharaoh in Egypt. You can read about this in Genesis 41.
3. What does the KJV of 1 Corinthians 10:20 tell people not to do with devils?

Answer: fellowship

Fellowshipping is an association with people who share your interests. Paul, who wrote the letters to Corinth told them that because if they fellowshipped with the devils, they would become like the devils.
4. What did someone do to their vineyard in Isaiah 5:2 of the KJV?

Answer: fenced it

It says in the middle was a tower. And "it brought forth wild grapes".
5. Which animals were the Israelites not allowed to eat according to Leviticus 11:30 of the KJV?

Answer: ferrets

A ferret is a type of rodent. They were considered unclean.
6. Which ingredient did it say the woman in 1 Samuel 28:24 used to make bread that starts with an F?

Answer: flour

Along with the bread, she also killed a calf. The next verse said she gave the food to Saul and her servants to eat.
7. Complete the verse in the KJV of Romans 3:25. "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the _____________ of God." What word goes in the blank?

Answer: forbearance

Forbearance means self-control or restraint and tolerance. Many Christians believe that this verse is saying that because Jesus died on the cross (through faith in the blood), God has patience with us because He sees us as righteous, if we have been covered with his blood (metaphorically speaking).
8. In the Lord's prayer (Matthew 6 KJV), what does it say we should do to our debtors?

Answer: forgive

The Lord's prayer is the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray when they asked how to pray. Several Christian artists (and even some non-Christian artists) have turned it into a song as well. My personal favorites are the one done by Sandi Patti and the one done by Carman.
9. What were the Israelites supposed to put on their meat offering according to Leviticus 2:1 KJV?

Answer: frankincense

Frankincense is an African incense. The smell was pleasing to God.
10. In Revelation 16:13 of the KJV, what is the unclean spirit compared to?

Answer: frogs

It says it came "out of the mouth of the dragon; the beast and the fake prophet". This is one of the prophetic verses that many Christians believe are a part of the end times.
