In round 16, the Bulldogs led 28-6 at half time against St. George-Illawarra, before (barely) hanging on for a 28-26 win. And the most memorable would have to be round 18, where Newcastle led 19-0 at half time, and Hazem El Masri converted, from the sideline and after the final siren, to win the game 22-21.
8. Who brought the Bulldogs' winning run to an end?

New Zealand played a very good game to out-muscle the Bulldogs 22-14 in Auckland, in round 22, to end the run at 17 matches.
9. Whose record of 19 matches did the Bulldogs land just 2 matches short of equalling?

Answer: Eastern Suburbs, 1975

10. The Bulldogs run gave them the second-biggest run of wins of all time. Whose record of 16 wins did they surpass to take this honour, and from what year?

Answer: South Sydney, 1908-09
