Batting for pitcher Duane Ward, backup catcher Ed Sprague came off the bench and hit the first World Series pitch he ever saw into the left field stands.

Answer: The U.S. Marine Color Guard paraded the Canadian flag upside-down

The Jays won game 2, 5-4.
4. In game 3, the Blue Jays centerfielder made one of the greatest plays in World Series history. What was his name?

Answer: Devon White

In the top of the fourth, with Terry Pendleton on first and Deion Sanders on second, White made an incredible leaping catch while hitting the wall at the 400-foot mark. He then landed and fired the ball back to the infield. Not realizing that Pendleton was already out for passing Sanders on the basepaths, the Jays threw to first to force out Pendleton, and then to Kelly Gruber at third, who had Sanders in a rundown. Gruber just clipped Sanders on the heel with the ball, apparently completing the second triple-play in World Series history, but umpire Bob Davidson called Sanders safe. Later, Davidson saw the replay and admitted he probably blew the call.

The Jays won game 3, 3-2.

The only run Key let in came in the eighth inning. The Jays won game 4, 2-1.

Borders hit .450 in the series with two home runs, and was the only player to hit in all six games.
