Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who said: 'His arms come up like giant testicles'?

Answer: Jack Dyer

The Richmond champion said this when describing Carlton ruckman Justin Madden's arms.
2. Which cricketer said: 'OK, Tony, don't speak to ME like that again!'?

Answer: Bill Lawry

This was on Channel 9's Wide World of Sports' cricket coverage (I'm sure when though) when Lawry and Tony Greig had yet another argument on an LBW decision.
3. 'What short of chaosh ish going on out there?' Who said this?

Answer: Richie Benaud

Classic Richie Benaud commentary - this one was in early November 2001 when Channel 9 were broadcasting a domestic cricket match between Queensland and Western Australia and a run out wicket took place, which was caused by a mix up between the batsmen.
4. 'Okay, now pair off into threes.' Who said this?

Answer: Jack Dyer

This is Dyer as coach at a training session.
5. Who said: 'And I still have Miss Australia with me here in Leanne Cock, err, Leanne Dick I should say.'?

Answer: Sandy Roberts

Ok, not at the AFL or at the cricket, but still a ripper! It was at the Caulfield Cup (horse racing) in 1984 when Sandy introduced Miss Australia Leanne Dick.
6. Who said this live on the Footy Show: 'Here's a 200th game present ... '?

Answer: Sam Newman

This was Newman just before he shoved a pie into Schwarz's face live on The Footy Show in 2001. The chaos that followed seemed to never end.
7. From the Footy Show: 'I was just looking for more money.' Who said this?

Answer: Shane Crawford

His excuse for dakking Sam Newman and revealing his bits and pieces to the nation live on The Footy Show, also in 2001. He did this because Newman had covered him in money earlier on, and as he was standing next to him, Crawford jumped at the chance!
8. Which AFL personality said: 'You give me possessions, then I'll shut up.'?

Answer: Ron Barassi

Mean man! Barassi was the meanest and loudest coach in the history of football. I'm not sure when it was said or who it was too though.
9. Do you remember who said this: 'What? How many fish would you need for 125 fish balls?'

Answer: Bob Davis

On League Teams when Lou was reading the recipe for 'Curried Fish Balls' (ideal for the grand final cold).
10. Who uttered these memorable words: 'McKay, to the wing position on the members' stand {side;} Oh, Jesaulenko, you BEAUTY!'?

Answer: Mike Williamson

This was after Carlton champion Alex Jesaulenko took the most famous mark (or a catch if you like) in footballing history in the 1970 Grand Final against Collingwood. He came from nowhere to leap high onto the shoulders of Collingwood bigman Graeme Jenkins and took it on his chest.

He landed on his feet and swung the game Carlton's way, as at that stage Carlton were 44 points down, and came back to win by 10 points (the mark was taken two minutes before half time).
