Answer: Derek Lowe

He was given the game seven start after being totally passed by during the ALDS in which he was dropped from the rotation.
2. Who was New York's starting pitcher?

Answer: Kevin Brown

After a pitiful start in game four, Brown tried to earn redemption, but did even worse in game seven.
3. Which of the following Red Sox did not hit a home run in this game?

Answer: Jason Varitek

Ortiz hit a 2 run home run, Damon hit a Grand Slam and a 2 run blast, while Bellhorn chipped in with a solo shot.
4. How many runs were given up by Boston's starter?

Answer: one

Lowe hit Cairo with a pitch, who then proceded to steal second. Then Jeter hit a double and drove him in.
