1. The first player to leave Aston Villa during the summer of 2007 was Colombian striker Juan Pablo Angel. Which MLS side did he join?

Answer: Red Bull New York

The striker was a fan favorite at Villa Park during his 6-year stay. Juan Pablo played 186 games, scoring 51 goals. Angel made an instant impact in the MLS, as he was named Player of the Month for May. He also became the first New York player to score in six games consecutively.
2. Lee Hendrie did not have his contract renewed during the summer of 2007. Which Championship team did he join?

Answer: Sheffield United

Hendrie had spent his entire career with Villa before his release. Lee made 251 appearances for the Villa, scoring 27 goals. He fulfilled his dream by making his first team debut against Queen's Park Rangers on the 23rd of December 1995. It was however, memorable for all the wrong reasons as Lee was sent off minutes after coming onto the pitch.

He made his debut for the senior England team in November 1998 against the Czech Republic.
