George Foreman lost the Heavyweight Championship title that night to Muhammad Ali, who was crowned the champion again. The match ended in the eighth round with Ali making Foreman count out. Foreman was considerably younger to Ali at that time and was the favorite to win. Foreman had earlier defeated two people, Joe Frazier and Ken Norton, to whom Ali had lost.

Answer: Mike Tyson

Up until then, Mike Tyson was the undefeated champion (37-0). He held every title there was to hold. But in the tenth round of the match against Buster Douglas, in what is considered one of the biggest upsets in boxing history, he was knocked out by his opponent. Buster landed a combination of four punches that sent Tyson to the floor and he was counted out by the referee. Douglas then lost to title nine months later to Evander Holyfield (on 25th October 1990).

On 5th November 1994, George Foreman defeated Michael Moorer in a match that took place in MGM Grand, Las Vegas NV to become the oldest person to hold the heavyweight title at the age of 45. The match went up to the 10th round in which Foreman was able to land a punch on the chin of Moorer, who was counted out.

It was a shocking win as George was not even ranked before the match and had lost his previous match to Tommy Morrison.

This fight was for the World Heavyweight Championship between two undefeated boxers - Frazier was the title hoder (26-0) and the former titleholder Muhammad Ali was the challenger (31-0). Ali was the former champion stripped of his title, after he was convicted of draft evasion charges on 20th June 1967.

The match went 15 rounds and thus the decision of the winner had to be decided by the judges. Frazier then subsequently lost the title to George Foreman two years later on 22nd January 1973.

This match between Tunney and Dempsey was a rematch between the two. Exactly a year before, in Philadelphia, Tunney had defeated Dempsey in their first meeting. During the time of the match, the rule that if a player has his knocked his opponent on the floor, he must retreat to a corner for the count was just being coined. During the match Dempsey knocked Tunney down and was on the floor for a considerable amount of time before the referee started counting, leading many to believe that it was rightfully Dempsey's match to win.

But Tunney recovered and won the match by a unanimous decision to retain his title. Due to the controversy in the count, this match was nicknamed 'The Long Count'.
