Scioscia led the Anaheim Angels to the World Series Crown in 2002, by defeating the San Francisco Giants in 7 games. All others listed, have won Manager of the Year Awards, but in the National League.
2. What New York Yankee played 13 seasons of baseball, and still retired with 361 home runs?

Answer: Joe DiMaggio

DiMaggio started his tear in the Major Leagues in 1936, by hitting 29 home runs as a rookie, and was 8th in MVP voting for the season. The following season he was runner-up MVP. Amongst his collection of milestones, he won 3 MVP Awards, all as a Yankee.

The franchise began in 1998 under the management of Buck Showalter. The following season they won their Division Crown, and in their 4th season, won the World Series by defeating the Yankees 4 games to 3.

1962 saw the Giants tie with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the end of the regular season. The other years listed, they were the New York Giants.
5. What was Roberto Clemente's born name?

Answer: Roberto Clemente Walker

Born on August 19, 1934, this Pittsburgh Pirate aroused the league with his play. His career was tragically shortened when a humanitariam supply aircraft crashed on its way to the Carribean in 1972. Clemente and the crew knew the aircraft was too heavy. Clemente insisted on being on the plane due to the supplies being diverted in the past, and did not make it to the people that the supplies were to go.

Answer: Tip O'Neill

All the O'Neill's listed, were players in the Major Leagues. Tip O'Neill began his career in 1883 with the Giants of the National League. Starting his career out as a pitcher, and with his 5-12 rookie season, he was switched to the outfield. He set a record for highest batting average in baseball history, when he hit .435 in 1887. He retired with the Reds in 1892.
7. How many home runs did Lou Gehrig hit in his last season of baseball?

Answer: 0

Gehrig played in only 8 games, and had 28 at-bats in his final season of 1939. He batted .143 and only had 4 hits. He died two years later in Riverdale, New York.
8. Who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2002?

Answer: Eric Hinske

This third baseman hit 24 home runs along with 158 hits for the Toronto Blue Jays. He beat out Rodrigo Lopez and Jorge Julio, both of the Orioles to win the award.
9. Who was the first pitcher to throw over 350 strikeouts in a season, during the 20th century?

Answer: Sandy Koufax

Born Sanford Braun, Koufax threw 382 in 1965 with the Dodgers. 8 seasons later in 1973, the great Nolan sruck out 383 batters. In 3 of Koufax's last 4 seasons, he struck out over 300 batters.
10. What uniform was Hank Aaron wearing when he retired?

Answer: Milwaukee Brewers

After 21 seasons with the Braves of Milwaukee and Atlanta, Aaron played his final two seasons with the Brewers, where he hit his final 22 home runs of his career total of 755. He retired in 1976.
