Answer: New Zealand

Born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1937. The son of a mechanic, he started racing internationally in 1958.
2. In 1966, Bruce raced the McLaren M1B which had design origins from the Zerex Special he bought from Roger Penske. What kind of engine did the M1B have?

Answer: 4.5L Oldsmobile

That 274 cubic inches doesn't seem like that much, does it? Especially compared to the 8.1L (494 cubic inch) Chevy that was in the 1971 M8F McLaren.
