Answer: Aramis Ramirez

Ramirez was a huge part of the reason the Cubs won the NL central in 2007 but unfortunately didn't win the award. Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees did win it.
2. Which of these set a franchise record for career RBIs?

Answer: Cap Anson

Adrian "Cap" Anson set the franchise record with 1,879. Sosa, Williams, and Banks had 1414, 1353, and 1636 respectively.
3. Infielder Ryan Theriot was drafted from which college?

Answer: Louisiana State University

Ryan was a rookie with the Cubs in 2005. Theriot was born in Baton Rouge and played on the same college team as Mike Fontenot, another rookie Cub in 2005.
4. Who was the Cubs pitcher that gave up the famous Babe Ruth called shot?

Answer: Charlie Root

This controversial called shot by Babe Ruth in the 1932 World Series is one of the most famous plays in sports, and helped the Yankees beat the Cubs in the 1932 World Series. Ironically, Root was one of the best Cubs pitchers of his era.
5. In which of the following seasons did the Cubs win the World Series?

Answer: 1907 & 1908

They won the World Series in those two seasons, but did not win again for the rest of the 20th century. The closest they came were in 1945, 1969, and 1984.
6. Kerry Wood won a Cy Young award with the Cubs.

Answer: False

Wood never won a Cy Young, but had an amazing few seasons with the Cubs before being plagued by injuries. He did win the Rookie of the Year award in 1998.
7. Who was the man that is often blamed by Cubs fans for losing them the 2003 NLCS by knocking a foul ball away from Moises Alou who might have caught it?

Answer: Steve Bartman

The Cubs led the Marlins 3 games to 2 in the NLCS, and were a mere five outs away from returning to the World Series for the first time since 1945. On what appeared to be an easy foul out hit by Luis Castillo, a fan named Steven D. Bartman attempted to catch the ball which Cubs leftfielder Moises Alou thought he could have caught. Castillo drew a walk and this sparked a rally that the Marlins would end up winning the game and the series.

They eventually defeated the New York Yankees in the World Series.
8. Which Cubbie set a season record for RBIs?

Answer: Hack Wilson

Hack Wilson had 191 runs batted in 1930, and was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979.
9. When the Cubs retired Ryne Sandberg's number in 2005, this made how many Cubs that had their jersey numbers retired?

Answer: 4

The Cubs have retired the numbers 10, 14, 23, and 26 for Ron Santo, Ernie Banks, Ryne Sandberg, and Billy Williams respectively. None of these numbers can ever be worn again by a Cubs player. All four are proudly displayed on the left and right foul poles at Wrigley Field. The number 42 was retired by Major League Baseball in honor of Jackie Robinson, but he wasn't a Cub.
10. What team did the Cubs lose to in the 1945 World Series?

Answer: Detroit Tigers

This would be the last time they'd get to the World Series in the 20th century. Both teams had lost several players due to WWII, and unfortunately the Tigers won.
