Answer: Stan Mikita

Mikita won the Art Ross trophie (high score), Lady Bing trophy (most gentlemanly player), and Hart trophy (most valuable player) two years in a row with the Chicago Blackhawks in 1966-67 and 1967-68.
2. Coach Scotty Bowman of Montreal never played pro hockey?

Answer: true

When Scotty was 17 years old, he was injured in an altercation with Jean Guy Talbot. Bowman suffered a fractured skull that ended his playing career.
3. In 1976, which defenseman won the James Norris trophy, stopping Bobby Orr from winning his 9th consecutive best defensemen award?

Answer: Denis Potvin

Denis Potvin, the great defenseman of the New York Islanders during the 1970's and 1980's went on to win three more Norris trophies.

Although Michel Plasse was the first pick overall by the Montreal Canadiens, he spent a few years in the minors until he was finally traded to Montreal for cash then traded back to Montreal by St. Louis the following year, (August 23,1971).

On February 27, 1926, Toronto's Babe Dye refused to give Bobby Hewitson the puck to resume play after a fight on the ice. So Hewitson awarded the game to Montreal and skated off.

Answer: Phil Esposito

Bobby Orr of the Boston Bruins was the only player that year to top the 100-point plateau with 33 goals and 87 assists for a total of 120 pts, while Phil Esposito, Orr's teammate with the Bruins that year, finished second with 99 points.
