1. Which of the following former Dodgers' name is spelled incorrectly?

Answer: Todd Zielle

Todd Zeile played for many teams in his career from 1989-2004. He played in the outfield, catcher, first base, but was mostly a third baseman. He even pitched in two games for the Rockies and Mets. In 1998, he played for the Dodgers, Marlins, and Rangers.
2. Which former Giant and MVP winner's name is not spelled correctly?

Answer: Willie MacCovey

McCovey broke into the Giants organization in 1959, winning the Rookie of the Year award. 1969 saw him win the NL MVP over New York Met pitcher Tom Seaver. Nicknamed Stretch, Mac, and Big Mac, Willie retired with 521 career home runs after 22 seasons, tied with the great Ted Williams.
3. Which New York Yankee Rookie of the Year has his name spelled wrong below?

Answer: Thurmon Munson

The other Yankees never won the Rookie of the Year award. Thurman Munson was the Yankee catcher in 11 seasons. He won the award in 1970. Winning three Gold Gloves, he was also the 1976 AL MVP, winning the award over George Brett of the Royals. Tragically, Munson was killed in a plane crash in 1979.

Dennis Eckersley played for five different teams from 1975-1998. His awards came with Oakland. 1988 brought him the relief award, and 1992 brought him the Cy Young and MVP. He retired with a 197-171 record with 390 saves. Dennis was a 2004 Hall of Fame inductee.

Musial was a career Cardinal from 1941-1963. Ironically, Gabby Hartnett and Lefty Grove, two other baseball greats retired in 1941, turning over the keys to Musial. Stan won seven batting titles, led the league in hits six times, led in doubles eight times, triples in five, and RBIs twice.

Although never winning a home run title, Musial retired with 475 home runs. The three-time season MVP winner is considered one of the greatest all-around players in history. The Hall of Fame took him in 1969.
8. The New York Mets' franchise began in 1962. Which of these Met inaugural players have their name spelled wrong?

Answer: Ed Cranepool

Kranepool was a 17-year old rookie first baseman with the Mets in 1962. He went on to play his entire career of 18 seasons with the Mets, through the good, bad, and the ugly. The Mets lost more than 100 games in each of their first four seasons. Ed was there in 1969 in the four games to one win over the Orioles in the World Series, and hit a home run in game three. Ed retired in 1979.
9. Which Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Pirate has his name spelled incorrectly?

Answer: Pie Trainer

Pie Traynor played his entire 17-season career with the Pirates. Harold Joseph "Pie" Traynor went to two World Series with Pittsburgh. He shined in the 1925 series win over the Senators, batting .346 with nine hits, two triples, a home run, and four RBIs. One of the greatest third basemen in history, the hall took him in 1948.
10. This Chicago Cub was the first Cub to win a season MVP award. Who is this that their name is spelled wrong?

Answer: Frank Schultz

Frank Schulte won the very first National League MVP in 1911. Frank was in his eighth Cub season when he won the first award. He won it by four points over Giant pitcher Christy Mathewson, and Phillies pitcher Pete Alexander by six points. He also hit 21 home runs that season, which was quite a few in that era. Shulte, nicknamed "Wildfire", retired in 1918.
