Mike Schmidt played third base for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972-1989. He won the National League MVP three times, in 1980, 1981, and 1986. He was selected to the all-star game 12 times in his career, along with 10 Gold Glove awards at third base. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
