"Trotts" had his number retired in 2001-02 in a pre game ceremony as the Islanders took on the Avalanche. The Isles ended up tying the game 4-4.
2. What did Pierre Turgeon contribute offensively in the 1993 NHL All-Star Game?

Answer: 3 goals & 2 assists

Turgeon recorded a hat trick and added two assists in the NHL Classic at Montreal. Turgeon represented the Islanders for the Wales Conference. The Wales Conference tore apart the Campbell Conference, 16-6. The MVP was Mike Gartner, who set a record for the fastest 2 goals by a player from the start of a game when he scored at 3:15 and 3:37 of the second period.

He collected 4 goals and 1 assist.
