1. Three of the following four have won a NL batting title. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Lou Brock

Although Lou Brock had 3023 career hits, his highest finish was sixth in 1964 when he had a career high .315 average. Gary Sheffield won the batting title when he batted .330 in 1992 with the Padres. Tim Raines won it in 1986 with the Expos. Roberto Clemente won the batting title four times with the Pirates, 1961, 1964, 1965, and 1967.
2. Three of these pitchers have won a AL or NL Cy Young award. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Nolan Ryan

Nolan Ryan had 324 wins and became the all-time leader in strikeouts, but he never won a Cy Young Award. Dwight Gooden won the Cy Young in his second season in 1985 with the Mets. Don Newcombe won the inaugural Cy Young in 1956 with the Dodgers. Fergie Jenkins won the 1971 Cy Young with the Cubs.
3. Three of the four have 500 career stolen bases. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Roberto Alomar

Roberto Alomar only had 474 career steals. Joe Morgan had 689 career steals. Barry Bonds had 514 career steals. Paul Molitor had 504 career steals.
4. Three of the four players have led their league in home runs in a season. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Rafael Palmeiro

Despite having 569 career home runs, the closest Rafael Palmeiro came to leading the AL in home runs was when he came in second place in 1999. Ernie Banks led the NL twice in home runs, 1958 and 1960. Duke Snider led the NL in home runs once in 1956. Graig Nettles led the AL in home runs in 1976.
5. Three of these Hall of Fame pitchers have led their league in losses. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Don Sutton

Don Sutton's career high in losses was 18 in 1969, he had the third most losses in the NL. Steve Carlton led the NL twice in losses, 1970 and 1973. Phil Niekro led the NL in losses 4 years in a row 1977-1980. Robin Roberts led the NL in losses in back-to-back seasons, 1956-1957.
6. Three of the four have been an All-Star on ten or more occasions. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Bob Feller

Bob Feller made 8 All-Star games. Steve Garvey has made 10. Dave Winfield has made 12. Randy Johnson has made 10, five in each league.
7. Three of the following four players hit for the cycle in the 2007 regular season. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Matt Holliday

Fred Lewis hit for the cycle on May 13. Mark Ellis hit for the cycle on June 4. Aubrey Huff hit for the cycle on June 29.
8. Three of the four players have won a World Series MVP. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Mickey Mantle

The World Series MVP had been given out since 1955. Mickey Mantle won four World Series with the Yankees from 1955 to his retirement, but he never won a World Series MVP. Paul Molitor won the award in 1993 with the Blue Jays. Bobby Richardson became the first player to win the World Series MVP on the losing team, when he won it in 1960 with the Yankees. Allan Tramell won the award in 1984 with the Tigers.
9. Three of the four Hall of Fame pitchers have thrown a no-hitter. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Steve Carlton

Although he had over 300 career wins and over 4000 career strikeouts, Steve Carlton never pitched a no-hitter. Dennis Eckersley, known more for being a closer, pitched a no-hitter in 1977 with the Indians. Warren Spahn pitched two no-hitters, in 1960 and 1961. Hoyt Wilhelm, also known more as a relief pitcher, pitched a no-hitter in 1958 with Baltimore.
10. Three of the following have had a hitting streak lasting 30 or more games. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Tony Gwynn

Tony Gwynn had over 3000 career hits, but never a hit streak over 30 games. Vladimir Guerrero had a 31-game hit streak in 1999. Nomar had a 30-game streak in 1997. Albert Pujols had a 30-game hit streak in 2003.
