The Giants played there from 1891-1957, the Yankees played there from 1913-1922, the Jets never played there, and the Dodgers played at Ebbets Field from 1913-1957.
3. Which pitcher won his record 19th consecutive game at the Polo Grounds on July 3rd, 1912?

Answer: Rube Marquard

Marquard was a New York Giant, and went 26-11 in the 1912 season. He played baseball from 1905-1925.

Centerfield was once as deep as 505 feet during the 1930s and 1940s, but was eventually shorted to 483 feet.
