Morio Higaonna Hanshi is a great Goju-Ryu karate master.
2. Hakutsuru is an ancient Chinese form (kata) which is said to have influenced several Shorin-Ryu kata. What does the name Hakutsuru mean?

Answer: White Crane

Hakutsuru means White Crane, and although there are very few people today who still practice the authentic form, many of its moves have found its way into other Shorin-Ryu kata.

Answer: Nijushiho

Teki is the Shotokan name given to the original Naihanchi kata by Gichin Funakoshi. Naifanchi is a Ryukyuan variation of the name and Naihanchen is a Japanese variation. Nijushiho is a Shotokan kata with no Shorin-Ryu background.
