Answer: Clive Allen

Clive Allen was born in Stepney, England on 20th May, 1961. At the age of 17 he made his QPR debut, and two years later signed for Arsenal. His dream took a backwards step however, as he only stayed at Highbury for 2 months before Crystal Palace bought him for one season. 3 more years back at QPR followed, and then a big transfer to Tottenham in 1984 set him on the road to fame. 60 goals in 105 League games for Spurs saw him transfer to Bordeaux in 1988. Allen wasn't a big success abroad, and moved to Manchester CIty in 1989, followed by Chelsea (1991-92), West Ham United (1992-94), Millwall (1994-95), and he ended his career at Carlisle United in 1995.

In total, Allen played 388 League games, and scored 181 goals.

Viv Anderson received 30 England caps during his illustrious career. Between 1974-84, he played 328 League games for Forest, scoring 15 goals in the process before moving to Arsenal. A dream move to Manchester United followed, but he only managed 54 League games for the Red Devils between 1987-91. From there, he moved to Sheffield Wednesday until 1993, and a player/manager role at Barnsley followed.

After leaving Barnsley in 1994 he moved to Middlesbrough, and played 2 games for the club before being made Bryan Robson's assistant manager at the club.

In total, Anderson played 763 games and scored 56 goals in all competitions throughout his career.

Faustino Hernan Asprilla Hinestroza was born on 10th November, 1969. He made his debut for Nacional de Medellin on 1st October, 1991, and moved to Parma in 1992, where he scored 25 Serie A goals in 84 games before moving to Newcastle United in 1996. 'Tino' never really set Tyneside on fire with his 9 goals in 48 games, and two years later was on his way back to Parma.

Another short spell followed before going back to his native South America, and Palmeiras in Brazil.

Altobelli began his career with Latina, before moving to Brescia in 1974. 26 goals in 76 games earned him a transfer to Inter Milan where he stayed until 1988, scoring 128 goals in 317 games for the club. Juventus was his next team, but only for one season.

After playing for the Turin giants, he played bit part roles for Brescia (1989-90), and Lecce (1990-93). He played 61 times for Italy and scored 25 goals, none more famous than the one on 11th July, 1982 in the World Cup final, which Italy won 3-1 against West Germany.

Osvaldo 'Ossie' Ardiles was one of the greatest players to grace the stages at White Hart Lane, even though he always pronounced the club's name as 'Tottingham'. A partnership with Glenn Hoddle at Spurs gave his two FA Cup winners medals and a UEFA Cup win. Ardiles played 238 games for Spurs, and 42 times for his country.

Roberto Fabian Ayala moved to Napoli in Italy in 1995, and instantly became a solid part of their defence. Answer: Kennet Andersson

Although not as prolific infront of goal as some, Andersson had the height to worry the best of defenders. Between 1985-89, he scored 18 goals in 76 games for Eskilstuna. Three seasons with Gothenburg followed with 29 goals in 63 games, before playing for KV Mechelen in Belgium, Lille in France, then Norrkoping (Sweden), and back to France with Caen in the 1994-95 season. 12 goals in 33 games for Bari earned him a transfer to Bologna, where he played 114 games and scored 33 goals.

In the 2000-01 season, he regained a little of that scoring touch, when he netted 11 goals in 29 games for Fenerbahce in Turkey. Andersson's international career was a little better than his domestic one, as he played 78 times, scoring 31 goals in the process.

After leaving Flamengo in 1989, Aldair moved to Benfica. Only a handful of games later, and he was on his way to Roma in Italy where he stayed for the rest of his career. Aldair Nascimento dos Santos played in three World Cups for Brazil, most famously the 1994 final, in which Brazil beat Italy on penalties after a 0-0 draw.
