The Newcastle Knights were formed in 1988, and play their home games at Hunter Stadium. In 1997, they defeated Manly-Warringah in the Grand Final to win their first Premiership. A second title followed in 2001, with Parramatta being their victims in the final.

Answer: Dawn Fraser

Fraser, from Balmain, won the 100 m freestyle at Melbourne in 1956, Rome in 1960 and Tokyo in 1964. She also won a relay gold medal at Melbourne and four silver medals over the course of her career. Her 1964 triumph made her the first swimmer of either sex to win the same event at three consecutive games.
