Answer: Hockey Hall of Fame

The Hockey Hall of Fame is located in Toronto. These four are among the best-known players of the 50's and 60's, although Richard retired after the 1959-60 season. Yvan Cournoyer's nickname was "The Roadrunner."
2. Which Hall of Fame includes George Mikan, "Red" Auerbach, Bob Cousy, and Bill Russell?

Answer: Basketball Hall of Fame

Officially the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, this institution, located in Springfield, Massachusetts, is not just a Hall of Fame for the National Basketball Association. Going back to the invention of basketball by Dr. James Naismith, the Hall of Fame also includes female contributors like player Cheryl Miller and coach Pat Summitt, as well as Olympic teams and the Harlem Globetrotters.
3. Which Hall of Fame includes Ty Murray, Larry Mahan, Slim Pickens, and Lane Frost?

Answer: ProRodeo Hall of Fame

Murray was a seven-time all around Rodeo world champion and Mahan won the all around title six times. Pickens, born Louis Burton Lindley, Jr., was a TV and movie actor, perhaps best known for his role in "Dr. Strangelove." He picked up the moniker "Slim Pickens" as a rodeo competitor and, more extensively, as a clown. The ProRodeo Hall of Fame is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
4. In what Hall of Fame are Don Carter, Earl Anthony, Don Johnson, and Dick Weber to be found?

Answer: PBA Hall of Fame

The PBA Hall of Fame is located in Arlington, Texas, and is part of the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame. Earl Anthony won 43 PBA tournament titles, second highest in PBA annals as of 2012. Carter and Weber were among the first eight Hall of Fame inductees in 1975.
5. Which state's Sports Hall of Fame would include Dan Gable, Nile Kinnick, Bob Feller, and "the Roland Rocket," Gary Thompson?

Answer: Iowa

Gable, from Waterloo, coached Iowa to 15 NCAA National Wrestling Titles and had a combined high school and college wrestling career record of 182-1, winning two national titles for Iowa State. Iowa's football stadium is named after Kinnick, who was from Adel.

He won the Heisman Trophy in 1939. Feller, from Van Meter, struck out 17 Yankees while playing for the Indians at age 17. Thompson, from Roland, was an All-American at Iowa State in both basketball and baseball and led the Cyclones to their first College World Series.

Answer: Canadian Football League Hall of Fame

Located in Hamilton, Ontario, the CFL Hall of Fame is the Canadian equivalent of Canton's NFL Hall of Fame in the USA. Flutie is famous for his "Hail Mary" pass for Boston College that beat Miami in 1984. Flutie and Moon were also well-known as NFL players after their CFL careers.

As collegians, Bright and Fleming played in Iowa, Bright at Drake and Fleming at Iowa. Fleming was on Iowa's 1959 Rose Bowl winning team.

Answer: Lacrosse Hall of Fame

The Lacrosse Museum and Hall of Fame is located in Baltimore, Maryland. Jim Brown was a two-time lacrosse All-American at Syracuse and was the nation's second-leading scorer as a senior. He was also a football All-American and retired from the Cleveland Browns in 1965 as the NFL's all-time leading rusher. Urso is one of only four lacrosse players to be a First Team All-American four times. Powell is another four-time First Team All-American.
8. In which hall of fame would you find Johnny Weissmuller, Gertrude Ederle, Janet Evans, and Greg Louganis?

Answer: International Swimming Hall of Fame

The ISHOF is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Weissmuller won six Olympic golds and set 51 world records. He was also Tarzan in 16 movies. Ederle won an Olympic gold and two bronzes in 1924 and held 29 national (UK) records. She was also the first woman to swim the English Channel. Evans won four Olympic golds and held 7 world records. Louganis won four Olympic diving gold medals and 47 U.S. Championships.
9. In which hall of fame would you find Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown, James "Cool Papa" Bell, Albert "Red" Schoendienst, and Enos "Country" Slaughter?

Answer: National Baseball Hall of Fame

Perhaps better known as Cooperstown, the National Baseball Hall of Fame is located in Cooperstown, New York. The players inducted in 2011 were Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven. The first five players inducted into the hall (1936) included Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, and Honus Wagner.
10. In which hall of fame would one find Chuck Bednarik, Raymond Berry, Lou Groza, and Crazylegs Hirsch?

Answer: Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is located in Canton, Ohio. Hirsch, who was from Wausau, got his nickname while playing for Wisconsin in 1942 against the Great Lakes Naval Station, when a sportswriter wrote about his "crazy legs." The same sentence also said Hirsch "looked like a demented duck." He finished his collegiate career at Michigan.
