Port Lincoln is a coastal city with a large tuna farming facility. During Australia day weekend the fish literally take to the skies. Frozen tuna weighing between eight and ten kilograms are thrown as far as possible, with cash prizes going to the winners.

It involves two teams of seven, trying to score goals by throwing the frisbee to each other along a rectangular playing field. Unlike other sports, a referee is not used during the game as the players rely on each others sportsmanship to maintain fair play.
