Nash barely edged Shaq to win the award. He was only the fourth point guard to win the award. The others included Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, and Bob Cousy. Steve averaged 15.5 points per game, 11.5 assists per game, and 3.3 rebounds per game for the 2004-2005 NBA season.
2. This guard played for the Memphis Grizzlies and wore the number 41 for the 2004-05 season. He showed great skill as he came out of Xavier in 1999. He was selected in the first round of the 1999 NBA Draft, the 18th pick overall. Who is he?

Answer: James Posey

Posey was a great player in college and was selected to be on the 1999 NBA All-Rookie second team. His first ever double-double was against the Sacramento Kings on January 12, 2001. James flew with 19 rebounds and 12 points in this game.
3. Who eliminated the Chicago Bulls from the 2004-05 playoffs?

Answer: Washington Wizards

The Bulls looked good going into the playoffs with a 47-35 record, the best they've had in six years. The Wizards were looking for a playoff run, not being in the playoffs in a very long time. The Bulls started off nicely with two straight wins, but then sadly dropped four straight to the Wizards.

Tripucka from the Pistons also had a .845%. Knight from the Indiana Pacers had .841%. Issel from the Nuggets had a .835%.
5. This guard for the San Antonio Spurs came from Oregon State. In the 2002-03 season, he led the Seattle Sonics in assists and steals. For the 2004-05 season he wore the number 17. Who is he?

Answer: Brent Barry

Brent Barry was selected in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets in the first round (15th pick overall). He was then traded with Rodney Rogers to the Clippers for Randy Woods and draft rights to Antonio McDyess. Barry stayed with the Clippers until 1998, when he was traded to the Heat for Isaac Austin, Charles C. Smith, and a first round draft choice in 1998. Barry then became a free agent after the '98 season and was signed by the Bulls.

He didn't last long in Chicago, as he was traded to Seattle for Hersey Hawkins and James Cotton.

His long five-year run ended after the 2003 season. Brent Barry was then signed by the Spurs on July 15, 2004.

9. When you come across half-court with the ball, then take a step backwards crossing back over that line, what is this violation called?

The Bulls and Sonics did not need any overtimes, as the Bulls won the championship in this season, four games to two.
