Markus scored 41 goals in the 2000-2001 season before it was cut short when he broke his leg in Buffalo. By reaching the 40 goal mark, Markus Naslund received a {$200,000} bonus in his contract. If he hadn't broken his leg and reached the 45 goal mark, he would have received an additional {$300,000} bonus on top of that. If he had made it to the 50 goal plateau he would have gotten {$500,000} more, for an even 1,000,000 extra on his contract.

Answer: Zenith Komarniski

Zenith scored the goal, from the face-off dot at center ice in GM Place on one of the games greatest, Patrick Roy. It was an unbelievably soft goal because Zenith was just shooting the puck into the Colorado zone and Patrick was the only player in there. By the time the puck went into the net, Zenith was standing on the bench.

Answer: Stan 'Steamer' Smyl
