Dom DiMaggio (as well as his brothers and fellow Major Leaguers Joe and Vince) was from San Francisco, where he was born in 1917. He played baseball in Boston.
2. In 1948, Dom DiMaggio set an American League record with 503 putouts in 526 chances. In 1977, that record was broken. Who broke it?

Answer: Chet Lemon

Lemon recorded 512 putouts in 536 chances while playing for the Chicago White Sox.
3. What was Dom DiMaggio's batting average during the 1946 World Series?

Answer: .259

DiMaggio strained a muscle sliding in to second in game seven of the series. He was replaced. Because of his superb arm, he ended up maybe costing the team the series when Enos Slaughter scored the winning run. Slaughter said that if DiMaggio had stayed in the game, he wouldn't have tried to score.
4. What team did Dom DiMaggio play with his entire career?

Answer: Boston Red Sox

Dom's brother Joe played for the Yankees and his brother Vince played with the Braves, as well as other National League teams. Dom played in the 1940s and 1950s.
