Answer: Sonny Jurgensen

Christian Adolph "Sonny" Jurgensen III was a fourth round draft pick in 1957 out of Duke University. He wore jersey #9 for the Redskins 1964-1974. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles 1957-1963.

Answer: Sammy Baugh

1963 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Samuel Baugh was a 1937 first round draft pick from Texas Christian University. He played the positions of quarterback, defensive back, and punter. He had his own style of throwing the ball by putting his thumb on the laces.
3. A 2008 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, this cornerback was a Redskins first round pick in 1983. Who is he?

John was a first round, 1971 draft pick out of Kansas by the Jets, where he played 1971-1975. He played for the Skins 1976-1979 and 1981-1985. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992.

Charley played for the Skins 1964-1977, then went into coaching. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1984.

Doug was the Skins quarterback that led them to defeat Denver in the 1987 season-ending Super Bowl XXII. He went 18 of 29 for a then Super Bowl record of 340 yards. He also had four touchdown passes with only one interception. He was the first African-American quarterback to reach the big game, but also the first to win.

The argument was that he was not a deep-ball receiver. Luckily, the committee came to their senses and gave the nod in 2008.

Monte Coleman was a linebacker out of Central Arkansas. He played 1979-1994 for the Skins, and was part of the three Super Bowls winning teams in the 1980s and 1990s. He tallied 43.5 sacks and 17 interceptions during regular season games throughout his career, and was listed as one of the 70 Greatest Redskins during the team's 70th anniversary celebration in 2002.
