Tony Lockett had a great start to his career kicking two goals including a goal with his first kick in VFL/AFL footy at centre half forward. He lined up on Geelong's Ray Card that day and Lockett's team, St Kilda lost by under a goal.

Answer: 34

He kicked 12, 10, 12 in his three matches after having a cracked vertebrae that he suffered in a collision with West Coast's Steve Malaxos during the first round of the 1991 Foster's Cup.
