War Admiral is the most remembered as a sire, and his blood line is still carried on today through mainly his daughters. Sir Barton never really made it at stud and he faded into obscurity. Assault was sterile to thoroughbred mares, but he did manage to get 4 quarterhorse mares in foal. So Assault can be found in some Quarter Horse bloodlines. Whirlaway was also considered a disapointment at stud.
