1. What NHL team originally drafted future Hall of Fame goaltender Ken Dryden?

Answer: Boston Bruins

He was originally picked by Boston in the 1965 amateur draft. I guess Boston regrets not signing him and he eventually went on and won six Stanley Cups with Montreal (1971, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979).
2. Wayne Gretzky had a brother who played part of a season in the NHL, what was his name?

Answer: Brent

His youngest brother played for the Tampa Bay Lighting. Keith was drafted by Buffalo but never played a game in the NHL. Walter is his dad's name. Ty is is son's name.

Answer: Jaromir Jagr

Jagr showed he was a great player and won it without Lemieux. A point of interest is if you scramble 'Jaromir' you get 'Mario Jr'.
4. In the 1972 WHA All-Star game, two players on the same team wore the same number, do you know why?

Answer: out of respect to two players

It was out of respect to Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull as no one wanted to decide who got number 9.
5. In 1919 the Stanley Cup Finals were cancelled in the middle of the series and no Cup was awarded. Do you know why?

Answer: because of a influenza epidemic

Due to the flu epidemic the Cup final was cancelled and no Cup was awarded because the series was tied.
6. After soundly winning a game in the mid 1980s against the New Jersey Devils, Edmonton Oilers superstar Wayne Gretzky referred to the Devils as a '_______ __________ Club'?

Answer: Mickey Mouse

Wayne later appoligized for the remark, but judging by their play he probably wasn't far off.
7. During a Heavyweight title fight in the 1990s against Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson was disqualified because he did what?

Answer: bit Evander's ear

Yes, Mike bit Evander twice during the fight and actually took a piece off the second time.
8. Who scored the most goals in one season by a defenceman, in the 20th Century?

Answer: Paul Coffey

Bobby Orr scored 46 goals in 1974-75 season, but it is Paul Coffey in 1986 with 48 goals that was the bench mark for defenseman in the 20th century.
9. Which of the following brothers were never teammates on an NHL team?

Answer: Phil and Tony Esposito

Phil and Tony Esposito were never teammates on an NHL team. They were however teammates on Team Canada in the 1972 summit series against Russia. They both started their NHL careers in Chicago but weren't there at the same time.
10. During the remainder of the 20th Century, how many Stanley Cups did the six expansion teams from 1967 win combined?

Answer: four

They didn't have much success as Los Angles, St. Louis, Minnesota and the now defunct California Seals never won any. Philadelphia has won two Cups (1974 and 1975), and Pittsburgh won two as well (1990 and 1991).
