Bob Flock started on the pole and led five laps, but dropped out of the race due to engine failure.
2. Swede Savage made nine Grand National (now Nextel Cup) starts from 1967-1969. What was his best finish?

Answer: 3rd

Swede Savage finished third at Bristol in 1968 in a 36-car field. Savage had two top fives and five top tens in nine starts. Unfortunately, Savage would be killed in a crash during the 1973 Indianapolis 500.
