1. Which USA sport was Larry Csonka made famous for?

Answer: NFL Football

Csonka spent eight of his 11 seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He was part of the 1972 undefeated Dolphins season, and rushed for over 1000 yards from 1971-1973 in each season. Larry was a five-time Pro Bowler. He retired in 1979.
2. Although being accused of being arrogant, I played in my sport for 21 years. My name is Reggie Jackson but my nickname was "Mr. October". Which sport did I play?

Answer: Baseball

Jackson began his career with the Kansas City Athletics, one season before the team moved to Oakland in 1968. He earned his nickname for stepping up in postseason play by hitting home runs. He once hit three home runs in a World Series game. Reggie was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
3. Hi, my name is Mia Hamm. Which sport was I famous for?

Answer: Soccer

Mia Hamm jump started women's and American soccer with her play with North Carolina, winning four NCAA soccer championships, then going to the Olympics to help win the crown for the USA. She also used her name in a positive way by endorsing the bone marrow research foundation in 1999.
4. Mario Lemieux made his name famous in which sport for 17 seasons?

Didrikson married a professional wrestler by the name of George Zaharias. After her Olympic endeavors as a track and field specialist, Babe became a professional golfer and won 10 majors, including the U.S. Women's Open in 1948, 1950, and 1954. She died of cancer in 1956.

Seagren won the 1968 Gold Medal in Mexico City even with a spinal injury. A graduate of USC, he also won four NCAA titles, and six National AAU titles. He was inducted into the USA Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1986.
10. Willie Shoemaker made his money and fame at which sport?

Answer: Horse racing

Shoemaker was one of the most successful and famous jockeys in horse racing history. He won the Kentucky Derby four times, the Belmont Stakes five times, and the Preakness two times. His jockey days were over in 1990. He died at the age of 72 in 2003.
