Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode opened up with Michael breaking into a particular place, looking for information on the key he had found in Sheriff Valenti's office. He found the information he was looking for, but was arrested before he could escape. Where, exactly, did he perform his less-than-stellar burglary techniques?

Answer: U.F.O. Center

As Michael printed off the information about James Atherton (author of "Among Us"), he noticed Milton, the owner of the U.F.O. Center, was asleep in the office. The sound of the printer woke Milton up and a little chase ensued. This ended, however, when a deputy from the sheriff's department stopped Michael and arrested him.
2. The history teacher at W. Roswell High started a class project, in which he split the students up into 2-person teams to answer a group of questions. The purpose of the assignment was for the students to learn more about each other, while practicing their investigative skills. What was the correct breakdown of the team assignments?

Answer: Isabel and Liz, Max and Kyle, Maria and Michael

Unknown to the students, Ms. Topolsky had given the history teacher the list of questions and had made the specific team recommendations to deliberately team up the people who do not get along well. "I mean, this is like cruel and unusual education. I mean, aren't there, like, Geneva Convention rules against this sort of thing." Maria expressed to Liz her extreme dislike of being paired with Michael on this assignment.
3. Thanks to Max, Michael was released from the sheriff station, with no charges being filed in his little breaking-and-entering fiasco. After returning to school, Michael showed Max & Isabel the information he had obtained before being arrested. The information pointed toward a particular place out of town and Michael wanted to borrow Max's jeep for the road trip. Where did Michael want to go?

Answer: Marathon, TX

The information Michael obtained from Milton's computer showed that James Atherton, the author of the book "Among Us", lived in Marathon, TX. Michael hoped that the place in Marathon would be the link to their past that he had been searching for.
4. Max refused to give Michael the jeep for his "vision quest" until they had checked out the place thoroughly. Michael, being the impulsive one of the trio, refused to wait on Max and Isabel. Desperate, Michael attempted to procure a vehicle from someone, but this person managed to jump into the passenger seat before he could pull away and unfortunately they became an unwilling participant in Michael's road trip. Who was the person that Michael took along with him, after he attempted to steal their car?

Answer: Maria

Maria gave Michael a ride to the Lift-Off Gas Station, which was located near the highway. While she was trying to deliver a package for her mother, Michael attempted to steal the car. Maria chased him down and jumped into the passenger seat, in an attempt to stop him. Freaking out, in true Maria fashion, she yelled "Oh my God! You're kidnapping me. No, wait, you're abducting me!"
5. After receiving a strange phone call from Maria and discovering that Michael had obtained a vehicle to go on his quest, Max, Isabel, and Liz started after them. Unknown to Max, Isabel and, Liz, they were being followed by an agent in an unmarked car. Who did the agent report to about their location?

Answer: Ms. Topolsky

The agent called Ms. Topolsky to update her on the group's whereabouts and she told him to stay behind them. Max noticed the agent while they were leaving Roswell, but did not make the connection until later on when he saw the same man at a store they stopped at for snacks. Using his powers, Max flattened the agent's tires, to ensure that the man could not follow.
6. Maria, being rather disgruntled with Michael for the hijacking of her mom's car, spent most of the trip arguing with him. During one of the heated conversations, a police officer pulled Michael over for speeding. Maria gave Michael 20 seconds to convince her not to tell the officer that he had kidnapped her. When the officer approached the car and asked for an explanation for the high rate of speed, what excuse did Maria give him?

Answer: She had to use the restroom.

Maria took pity on Michael and chose to cover for him with the police officer. Maria's story was so convincing that the officer even told them where to go for safe and clean restrooms. Michael seemed genuinely stunned that Maria had chosen to cover for him with the police officer.
7. Later on, Michael pulled the smoking car onto the side of the road. After trying to fix it with his uncontrollable powers and managing to burn up the battery, Michael gave up and told Maria he was checking into the nearby motel to sleep. When they walked into the room, what Disney movie did Maria say that their room resembled?

Answer: Aladdin

The name, Sultan's Hideaway Motel, should have given them a clue, but they both seemed astonished when they saw the room. Maria remarked "It's like the porno version of 'Aladdin'."
8. After continued verbal sparring, Maria and Michael made an unspoken truce and decided to get some sleep. In the mean time, Max, Liz, and Isabel caught up to them, found the car on the side of the road, and tracked them to the motel. Michael was not happy to see Max because he thought that Max would insist that he abandon his quest. In the midst of the discussion, what unexpected visitor entered the room?

Answer: Kyle

Kyle had realized that everyone had lied about their whereabouts and followed the group. He caught up to them at the motel and demanded to know what was going on, claiming to be concerned for Liz's welfare. Michael lost control of his temper, and his powers, and accidentally threw Kyle across the room and into a chair. Obviously upset, Kyle demanded that Liz leave with him immediately, but she refused and told him that what was going on was none of his business and she wanted him to leave, which he eventually did.
9. After the unwanted guest had left the motel room, Liz demanded to know the entire story of where they were going and why. Reluctantly, Isabel, Max, and Michael told them the truth and they decided to press on and continue the trip. When they located the house they were looking for, Michael tried to open the front door with the key he had found, but it did not work. After Max used his powers for them to gain entry into the house, they looked around, but hit another dead end. After some searching, where did they ultimately find a hidden room?

Answer: Underground

Once inside Atherton's house, Michael had another vision, which revealed a hidden room. He found a loose rock on one of the walls, which hid a key lock. When he placed the key in the lock and turned it, a trap door in the floor opened, which led to a secret underground room.
10. Once the entire group had made it into the hidden room, they heard someone approaching. They did not see who the two visitors were, but the audience did. Who were the two visitors who were trying to locate the group?

Answer: Ms. Topolsky and Sheriff Valenti

Unknown to the group, Sheriff Valenti had copied the papers that Michael had in his possession after the break-in of the U.F.O. Center. After learning that Michael had been pulled over by a police officer on the way to Marathon, TX, Sheriff Valenti had joined in the chase and had tracked them to Atherton's house. Unknown to the sheriff, Ms. Topolsky had also been tracking them.

She knocked the sheriff unconscious . . . The show stopped here and the storyline was continued in the next episode, "River Dog".
