Answer: Council Chambers

In the council chambers, Londo is protesting the absence of the ambassardors from Narn and Minbar. Londo: "Here, you see? One deserts his post without any explanation, the other one picks the most breathtakingly inconvenient moment possible to explore new career options...like, becoming a butterfly!"

Answer: Elizabeth

It was Elizabeth who first introduced John to Anna, so she knows how hard it is for him to have to deal with her death. Elizabeth gives John a data crystal containing a message from Anna to Elizabeth about the expedition on which she died. This message gives John a chance to say goodbye.

Answer: 2 years

Elizabeth and John have dinner together, where they catch up on everything that has gone on since they have last seen each other. They mention how it has been two years since they have actually been together. The last time was at Anna's memorial service.

Answer: eliminate the entire Narn homeworld

Londo and Morden are discussing the Royal Court's reaction to the destruction of the Narn outpost. Londo: "What happens if I'm asked for another of these little demonstrations?" Morden: "Then we'll provide it. Simply choose your target. A colony, an outpost." Londo: "Why don't you eliminate the entire Narn homeworld while you're at it?" Morden: "One thing at a time, Ambassador. One thing at a time."

Answer: "Weep for the future."

These lines are all taken from G'Kar's speech to Na'Toth. "Weep for the future, Na'Toth. Weep for us all." "I have looked into the darkness, Na'Toth. You cannot do that and ever be quite the same again. When you told me about the destruction of our base in Quadrant 37, I knew that only a major power could attempt an assault of that magnitude, but none of the governments here could have done it, which left only two possibilities: a new race, or an old race - a very old race." "G'Quan spoke of a great war long ago against an enemy so terrible, it nearly overwhelmed the stars themselves. G'Quan said that before that enemy was thrown down, it dwelled in a system at the rim of known space." "On dark deserted worlds, where there should be no life, where no living thing has walked in over a thousand years, something is moving, gathering its forces, quietly, quietly...hoping to go unnoticed. We must warn the others, Na'Toth.

After a thousand years, the darkness has come again."

Answer: Icarus

The Icarus was a long range exploration ship that was sent by IPX to do a survey of a planet out on the Rim (Z'ha'dum). Anna Sheridan took the position of science officer on the ship. When the ship exploded, she and the rest of the crew were thought to have died. We later learn that Morden survived, and many others were placed in the Shadow ships.

Answer: "What's up, Doc?"

Dr. Franklin approaches Sheridan about Garibaldi's condition. He says that he has tried everything within their medical abilities, but nothing seems to be working to bring him out of the coma. He suggests to Sheridan that the alien device that Dr. Rosen (used in "The Quality of Mercy) found might help.

Sheridan is skeptical at first, but allows Dr. Franklin to go through with the procedure. Later, after he has dinner with Elizabeth, Sheridan finds Franklin and offers to share the burden of using the device. Eventually, Garibaldi comes out of his coma and says the above line.

Answer: "What am I?"

When Franklin first gets to Delenn's quarters, she says: "I am not ill, doctor. What I have become, what I suffer, requires you alone." Doctor Franklin takes her hand, which is scaly. He presses down on the scales, which break to reveal fresh skin. Franklin then lifts up the hood to reveal her face, which is also covered in scales. Delenn then asks, "What am I?"

Answer: Z'ha'dum

G'Kar addresses the council with his findings from the investigation of the attack and the awakening of the great enemy. G'Kar: "I have convinced [the Kha'Ri] to send a ship to the heart of the enemy's old domain, located at the rim of known space, a dark and terrible place known as Z'ha'dun.

It has been dead for a thousand years. No one goes there, no one. Our ship will arrive in twelve hours, coming out of hyperspace as close to the enemy's homeworld as possible. They will scan the planet for signs of life and return to hyperspace before anyone can attack." Sheridan: "And if someone is living there?" G'Kar: "Then all our races stand on the brink of extinction."

Answer: Lou Welch

When the security officers find out that Jack was the one that shot Garibaldi, they 'arrest' him in an unusual way. They trick him out of his office and out into the hallway where they are waiting. Lou Welch, the most pissed off of the bunch, says the above line.

When Sheridan arrives, Welch says: "He's all yours, sir. Unless you want to walk around the block a few times and leave him for us!"

Answer: Talia perfomed a scan which helped him to remember.

When Talia performs the scan, Garibaldi relives the event, and with her help sees Jack's reflection in a mirror or other shiny surface. The scan would not have helped if that object hadn't been there, since he was shot in the back.

Answer: Jack

We learn his name for the first time at the end of this episode when Garibaldi is talking to Ivanova and Franklin about his suspicions. Garibaldi: "Now Jack didn't admit anything, but he did say that the Homeguard wasn't behind President Santiago's assassination.

But what if it was the Psi Corps? What if they wanted someone in office who was sympathetic to the Corps? Right before Earth Force 1 exploded, the Vice-President got off at Mars, saying he had the flu. Pretty convenient, isn't it?"

Answer: Bester

Bester also gave the salute to Mr. Garibaldi in the episode "Mind War." Also, said with the salute is the phrase "Be seeing you." Garibaldi uses this connection as part of his reason for suspecting that Psi Corps might be a part of the conspiracy.

Answer: Londo

Londo says this after G'Kar makes his feelings about the Centauri known, as they once again get stuck waiting for a transport tube together. G'Kar had said: "Mollari, the grievances between my people and yours will never be resolved except with Centauri blood. Accept that as a given." Londo replies with the above line.

Answer: spacing

Garibaldi says this to Jack after they have arrested him. "Roll this one around in your head. Shooting a senior officer is an act of treason and mutiny. The penalty is spacing. They put you in an airlock,seal it, and open the space door. You spend the next five minutes chewing vacuum until your lungs turn inside out, your eyeballs freeze, and your heart explodes.

It's the worst kind of death you can imagine. And when that day comes, I'll be there to push the button."

Answer: the flu

This is also from Garibaldi's discussion of his conspiracy theory with Ivanova and Franklin. He now not only suspects Psi Corps, but also the president.

Answer: lowering of her ears

The change that Delenn went through was not merely a cosmetic manipulation of her features, but was also genetic. Her DNA was completely resequenced so that she actually became half human and half Minbairi. Delenn: "Ambassador Sinclair has been allowed to live on my world as an act of good faith, to create a greater understanding between Minbari and humans.

In return, I have undergone this change with the blessings of my government, so that I may become a bridge between our worlds, in the hope that we will never know war between us again."

Answer: "The Second Coming"

"Jerusalem" and "The Tyger" were written by William Blake, and "All Along the Watchtower" was written by Dylan Thomas. G'Kar reads from "The Second Coming," by W.B. Yeats. Here is the section that he read: "Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold./ Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world./ The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere,/ The ceremony of innocence is drowned./ And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,/ Slouches toward Bethlehem to be born?"

Answer: indisposed

This is from the opening scene in the council chambers when Londo has had enough of the inconvenience of having Delenn and G'Kar missing. Lennier's response to Londo's last line is simply "Yes."

Answer: Anna

This is from Anna's message to Elizabeth: "Oh well, maybe we'll have the chance to try again later. I am really excited about serving signing on board the Icarus next week. John and I were supposed to spend some time together, but Dr. Chang thinks he's found the ruins to an ancient civilization nobody's ever heard of before.

The chance to be there when the discovery is confirmed is just too good an opportunity to pass up. I had already decided to put off our vacation and go when John called to tell me that he had to cancel, so it worked out just great. Though the poor dear looked so upset about breaking the news, I wanted to tell him I was going away anyway, but I...we had so much else to cover, and there's never enough time...I'll just have to fill him in when I get back. You've got quite a brother there, Liz. I can't tell you how...how lucky I feel sometimes, even when he's not here. I just...Someone said that love knows no borders, and ours certainly proves the point. Well, I'll check in with you when I get back, though with any luck, you'll hear about it on the news first. My love to Danny and the kids. Bye."
