2.21 "No Laughing" Trivia Quiz

The episode kicked off at Highland High School where the kids were in Spanish class. This was evident by words like "buenas dias clase" on the board, which were Spanish for "good day class". Beavis and Butt-head, as expected, did nothing but good off for the entire session that day.

The instructor asked the class to translate a few words for him but nobody wanted to give the assignment a shot. He was then seen walking around the class looking to find anyone not paying attention to therefore dispense a pop quiz. One poster appeared depicting a light colored flower next to the words "South America."

The instructor went to Butt-head to see if he had paid attention in Spanish class. He provided him a short poster which said "Juan ez alto". He then inquired with him on describing what Juan was per the picture's statement. Butt-head was unable to answer correctly, upsetting the teacher.

Butt-head just blurted out the word "burrito" in class for no apparent reason other than invoking silliness. The teacher once again repeated a question to answer and yet Butt-head still could not understand what he wanted. All the teacher did with Butt-head was vent frustration on him.

After not getting through to Butt-head, the instructor turned to Beavis to see if he could answer his question. However, Beavis took a cue from his pal and simply uttered the word "spaghetti". While the class erupted in laughter, the teacher yet again scolded Beavis for, like Butt-head, not taking Spanish seriously.

The instructor gave a terse soliloquy demeaning both boys for not knowing a whole lot of Spanish in his year long course. He brought up how they only seemed to grasp minor foreign terms while venturing at Taco Bell. He asked them to utter a phrase in Spanish or else risk flunking out before heading to Principal McVicker's office.

Midway through the episode, in another classroom, Beavis and Butt-head horsed around in the back with some educational instruments. Butt-head tossed around a pencil that he eventually dropped on his desk. It hit at such force that it flipped into Beavis's eye, drawing blood and a frightening scream.

The instructor entered the classroom to take roll for the day. He read off a couple names before he got to one that had a humorous sound to it. Once he mentioned the name, the duo both erupted into laughter while upsetting the teacher for having to always giggle whenever he completed attendance checks.

Once she mentioned a particular term, the duo yet again started to laugh, frustrating her to the point where she dismissed them.
