One of the Montecito's favorite gamblers, Fred Puterbaugh, returned to the casino and went to go have a private talk to Ed. He told Ed that he wanted to thank him and Danny for not only saving his life but helping him become a billionaire. Fred then put in a proposal: he wanted to take Ed shopping. Ed appeared befuddled at this offer from Fred.

Danny was notified by Mitch that there was a player doing something that was against hotel rules: passing out fliers. Danny went to a craps table where the player was, and pulled him aside for a talk. He said that they could not allow him to distribute fliers at the Montecito, so he let him know he had to leave.

As the opening credits rolled, Ed heard from a guest that a player was using loaded dice at a craps table and that was illegal. He radioed to Nessa to ask her to keep an eye on the table. Nessa noticed the loaded dice and replaced them with a regular pair of dice.

Jenny Cho arrived at the Montecito because she got a phone call from Mike about their being a cheater at the Montecito. Ed and Mike told her that the cheating involved a gambler using some loaded dice at the craps table. Jenny stood there for a little bit before leaving and finding the guy to arrest him.

Ed was pleased about the guest named Arnold informing him about the guy who used the loaded dice. As a reward, Ed gave him some money and Arnold was appreciative. Ed explained that anyone who gave the casino information that led to an arrest would be offered a reward, as it was the hotel's policy.

Midway through the episode, Delinda ran into Fred and she wanted to clear something up with him. She mentioned the time in a previous episode when Fred interned at the bar at Mystique and was let go. Delinda made it clear to Fred that it was not her decision to fire Fred. Delinda then admitted that there was a special connection between her and Fred.

There was an unhappy guest at the Montecito since someone at the salon overcharged him on his account after his wife got service done there. The guest spoke with Sam as she had a drink from Cup-O-Jo's and she offered to get him a drink from there. The guest said no but wanted to know if she spoke to the woman at the salon about overcharging him. Sam said she did and that the woman was sorry about it.
