Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. A man came into the hotel looking for Angel because he needed someone with Angel's "special abilities".

Answer: True

He then asked if Wesley had any special abilities.
Wesley: "A few, I dare say."
Man: "You a creature of the night?"
Wesley: "No, but I was a rogue demon hunter, so I know how to handle myself when things get rough." Then he slipped and fell on a mess he'd just created before the man arrived.
Man: "Yeah, you're scary."
Wesley: "I'm sure he'll be back soon."
Man: "You might wanna tell the boss, he wants to run a business, he shouldn't be foisting clients off on his secretary."
2. Where did the Host/Lorne send Angel to meet the swami, the T'ish Magev?

Answer: Ojai, California

Instead of the usual need for karaoke, the Host was able to send Angel out to Ojai to meet a friend of his, called the T'ish Magev. The swami would be able to aid Angel in finding out his true path. Art LeFleur played the fake swami. He killed the real swami, as Paul Lanier had hired him to do. He was there to keep Angel busy while he had Virginia Bryce kidnapped.
3. Was Wesley forced to pose as Angel to save Cordy's life?

Answer: Yes

Magnus Bryce sent a man to get Angel from the hotel, and when Cordy couldn't produce his whereabouts, he pointed a gun at her with intent to kill. Wesley dressed as Angel and convinced the thug that he was the real deal. Magnus didn't do his homework, as he believed Angel to be a eunuch and the hired thug "invited" Wes into Paul's home. Paul or Virginia would have had to be the one to actually invite Angel in, or else he'd be trapped at the threshold.
4. Wesley was forced to consume blood in front of Magnus Bryce.

Answer: True

He tried to wriggle out of the situation by claiming he didn't normally drink in front of humans, which was true about Angel. Bryce said not to insult him and that the blood was fresh. It was obvious the blood was not a pleasant experience for Wesley.
5. Which birthday was Virginia's father celebrating with a sacrifice to the "goddess" Yeska?

Answer: 50th

He'd been aggressively assuring that Virginia would remain pure (a virgin) all these years so that Yeska would want her. Yeska was not a goddess at all, but a Davric demon. Virginia had lost her "purity" back when she was a teenager, as well as sleeping with Wesley in this episode. Bryce thought Angel was unable to "perform" due to his curse, and that was why he'd wanted him in particular. Todd Susman played Magnus Bryce.

In 2013, he could be seen in the Netflix original series "Orange is the New Black".
6. Who went to the swami to retrieve Angel in order to help Wes?

Answer: Gunn

Cordy explained to Gunn about what had happened, and then figured out the Paul Lanier connection. When Gunn arrived, faux swami tried to distract him.
7. Did the sunshine deter Angel from getting to the fake swami, after the man attacked Angel's friend?

Answer: No

The imposter knocked Gunn out, and then stood in the sun gloating about the fact that Angel couldn't touch him. Angel picked up a fishing rod off the porch, sunk the hook into the man's lips and dragged him back into the shade.
8. Who said, "Release her or die", to Magnus?

Answer: Wes

Angel replied with, "Don't I say that?" Wesley began to change in this episode. Not only protecting Virginia, but his intimate relationship with her as well caused him to start gaining confidence.
9. Why didn't Yeska take Virginia?

Answer: She was "impure"

As soon as the demon saw Virginia she was horrified and said, "The sacrifice is impure". Then she disappeared. Magnus questioned his daughter about her purity and received a history lesson on her love life.
10. At the end of this episode, neither Angel nor Cordy was too happy about Wesley's new found fame on the arm of Virginia Bryce.

Answer: True

Cordy wanted it to be her that was famously seen on the arm of a celebrity. Angel didn't like the fact that the tabloid article referred to Wes as "private detective and bodyguard to the stars", and named their business as the Wyndam-Pryce Agency.
